Mother Manning

granny                             Mother Idonia Brown-Manning

Born August 14, 1944 in Indian River county, Florida, she was the sixth child of nine children born to Samuel and Ethel Prince-Brown. She received her basic education in the the local schools there. Also receiving theological training in teaching under Bishop   Dr.Thomas and Dr. B Brown of faith Pentecostal house of God(apostolic faith)At an early age she joined New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member of the church choir.

It was here that she met her husband to be, now Elder Author Lee Manning,Sr. They were wed October 13, 1960 and to this union 5 children were born 1 son and 4 daughters and 12 grandchildren. In 1985, she was one of the founding members of Bethlehem Temple, Inc. (apostolic faith)She currently serves as presiding church mother as well as Sunday Superintendent and  teacher. She also heads the Missionary Department.
In 1999, Mother Manning visited Israel, the Holyland, one of the highlights of her trip was being baptized in the Jordan River and being overwhelmed by the spirit , praising and speaking in tongues.
