It was here that she met her husband to be, now Elder Author Lee Manning,Sr. In 1985, she was one of the founding members of Bethlehem Temple, Inc. (apostolic faith)She currently serves as presiding church mother as well as Sunday Superintendent and teacher. She also heads the Missionary Department.
In 1999, Mother Manning visited Israel, the Holyland, one of the highlights of her trip was being baptized in the Jordan River and being overwhelmed by the Holy Ghost,praising and speaking in tongues.
